Recycling

We breathe new life into PET bottles, and our product range features packaging made also from recycled plastic (RPET).

Responsibility

We purchase credits to finance environmental defence projects that offset all the CO2e emissions generated by our products.

Residual CO₂e compensation

Environmental offsetting applied by companies consists of offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions generated by an activity, such as the production of drinks in plastic bottles, through the funding of green projects around the world, which contribute to the protection of the environment and local communities. In this way, emissions that cannot be avoided in one place are reduced or absorbed elsewhere on Earth.​

Every year, we calculate the amount of greenhouse gases generated during the entire life cycle of our products, with the aim of minimising CO₂ emissions. For the Ecogreen line, in the last 11 years we have neutralized 696,725 tons of CO₂ equivalent.

By financing international projects that use renewable energy or promote the planting of trees, real 'credits' are generated, which companies use to offset their CO₂e.

2023: Mai Ndombe REDD+ project, for the introduction of sustainable agriculture, forest conservation and reforestation.

Since 2023, we have been supporting Wildlife Works and their Mai Ndombe REDD+ project in Congo. With the purchase of credits possible through offsetting, the project has more resources to continue restoring 300,000 hectares of rainforest through the introduction of sustainable agriculture. Their Sustainable Development Goals are realized through initiatives that include education, health, food security, gender equality and biodiversity conservation, concretely supporting and engaging a community of over 50,000 people.

From 2011 to date, the project has already prevented the release of 24.2 million tons of carbon into the atmosphere.
